This book was my first publication with Southern Nevada Conservancy. I designed the interior of the book as well as all the reference maps within. We contracted a historical illustrator for the cover design, which blended the current landscape with a depiction of miners in the same location. Challenges with this book included working with (and accepting) cover design typography, indexing, page numbering, and marketing outside of Nevada.
