The original interpretive signage at Red Rock Canyon NCA was 10-15 years old and heavily damaged from the sun. It was a priority to replace it, especially with the new BLM design standards. Over the course of several years, all trail and trailhead signage will be updated with three sites currently complete. The Red Spring Boardwalk signage won an award for outstanding outdoor exhibit from the National Association for Interpretation (NAI) in 2020.
